Heritage Fine Wines

467 N Canon Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210

This organic wine bar and tasting lounge located in the heart of Beverly Hills was founded by biodynamic wine estate owner Jordane Andrieu and is managed by Charles Denois, who has extensive experience in the industry as well. The pair grew up in France with a rich heritage of wine and hospitality in their respective family lineages and opened the new hotspot in the Gold Triangle in Beverly Hills. Featuring 228 all organic, biodynamic or natural wines with 37 offered as glass pours, come by for Happy Hour 4-7OM weekdays for $8 glasses of wine and $12 flutes of champagne. Also good to know: Every Thursday it's $1 oyster all day and live music can be found here on Fridays from 7PM.

Pour Haus Wine Bar

1820 Industrial St. Los Angeles, CA 90021

Located in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles, Pour Haus Wine Bar is a wine shop and bar with vintages available to drink in house by the glass or by the bottle. With over 120 wines offered by both by the bottle and glass and wine flights which rotate once a month, Pour Haus will also be starting up a wine club in January. Stop by for their daily happy hour from 4-7PM and pick a spot inside or on their quaint patio and a glass or bottle to share as well as from a selection of games and a fun food menu to pair. Be sure to come by for their monthly Wine School’ed event as well, which is part game, part school, and part tasting, which features a Wine Expert, three comedians and a whole lot of fun.

Severance

7274 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046

Severance, a new immersive beverage-driven experience, opened on Melrose Ave. September 4 with help from bar industry vet Evan Charest. With bottles of champagne sabered upon request, DIY tableside punches, a Wine Cart that features different soil/terroir samples from various regions. Severance’s goal is to enlighten guests on wines, sherries, champagnes and beers in an interactive, experience driven atmosphere in a warm, comfortable setting. A spin on the traditional wine bar, Severance serves over 80 different wines by the glass but also serves wine-based cocktails, champagne punch bowls and more.

Tabula Rasa Bar

5125 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027

The neighborhood bar located in Thai Town opened in 2016 and serves natural wine and craft beer alongside a small but flavorful food menu. Stocking around 150 different wines at any given moment, focusing on small production and family owned wineries, rotating the 20 options by the glass every few days. A seven day-a-week happy hour from 5-7PM features $2 off all glasses of wine. Stop by on Monday for their “Grand Cru Monday” where many vintage, Champagne and high-end bottles are discounted. Additionally, they offer live jazz Sundays and Tuesdays with chef pop-ups throughout the week.

Augustine Wine Bar

13456 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423

Opened in February of 2018 by David Gibbs, Dustin Lancaster, and Matthew Kaner Augustine Wine Bar in Sherman Oaks features a by the glass wine list of 60 wines, and a vintage collection of about 1,500 bottles. Their collection of vintage wines date back to the late 1800s and are available by the glass and bottle with anywhere from 5-10 different vintage wines to enjoy by the glass to be found each night. Choose a selection of a vintage wine and pair with a menu which showcases cuisine from Italian and French origin and an impressive cheese and charcuterie selection.

Good Measure

3224 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90039

The wine-centric restaurant in Atwater Village helmed by famed LA sommelier Matthew Kaner is his first endeavor with regards to a restaurant. Together with Good Measure’s Sommelier and Owner Sophie O’Malley and Executive Chef Mike Garber, Good Measure serves wine country cuisine inspired by their far-flung destination travels around the globe. With ample wines by the glass (about 25 selections) and bottle (90+) list that references as many as 15 wine producing regions, the food menu of seasonal dishes is heartfully interpreted and expertly paired to reflect their globe-trotting adventures with inspired regional dishes and pairings to match. Stop by for Magnum Mondays where every Monday Kaner uncorks a different magnum bottle for a weekly by the glass series.

Vinoteca Farfalla

Located on the trendy block of Hillhurst Ave. in Los Feliz, Vinoteca Farfalla is a neighborhood wine and beer bar that has held a special, intimate and romantic charm for the past 10 years. Sourcing and handpicking small wine producers that use sustainable farming methods, the wine selection is constantly on rotation with over 150 bottles on offer. With happy hour served up every night and all-day Sunday and Monday, an Italian menu from antipasti, cheeses, pizza, pasta and more is paired with $6 and $7 wines by the glass.

Melody

751 N Virgil Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029

In the blossoming Virgil Village neighborhood, Melody is located in an old bungalow, once a family home, offering eclectic indoor-outdoor seating with music, wine, food and lots of good vibes. The mom and pop shop was conceived, financed, and designed by Eric Tucker and his wife Paloma Rabinov and focuses on wine made by independent, responsible producers both near and abroad with small production and, at the very minimum, biodynamic and organic practices. Due to the focus on natural wines using biodynamic and organic practices, their menu is constantly changing and evolving normally having 30 wines by the bottle and 12-15 by the glass. Inside with a deejay booth or on their patio, imbibe during the nightly Wine Down hours between 5-7P< for 15% discount on all beverages, obviously including wine and $1 oysters as well.

fundamental LA

Owners Jeffrey Faust and Woogene Lee present a seasonal menu paired with thoughtfully sourced beer and wine list curated by Wine Director Alicia Kemper of The Tippler Club. Faust and Lee opened the restaurant as a neighborhood spot for delicious food and drinks to be enjoyed amongst good friends. With a selection of 100 wines by the bottle and 26 by the glass, they are proud to serve natural wines made by farmers and winemakers, not by factories. Esters Wine Shop & Bar

Esters is a wine shop, bar, and restaurant in Santa Monica, CA, which derives its name from the chemical compounds that contribute to a wine’s bouquet. Co-Owner & Rustic Canyon Family Wine Director Kathryn Coker and her husband, Tug, join Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan in this wine-drinking destination which pairs a seasonal menu by Chef Jessica Liu-He with a selection of 250-plus wines.
